Bryce Canyon is not a canyon but that is besides the point....It is an amphitheater and the canyons are carved into it. We spent a few days exploring the Hoodoos, spires and mesas at Bryce. We hiked down into the canyon to see Wall Street and Queen Victoria's garden. The way back up was a lot harder then the way down. Especially at 8,000 feet there is 25% less oxygen.
